Blackheads deep inside the pore?

i cant use strips because lie i said the blackheads are deep inside my pores and clean and clear didnt work. doe s anyone know what brand is good for these pores. i mean something that u have used and actually saw resuts.Blackheads deep inside the pore?
back before pro-active %26amp; biore strips %26amp; all that other stuff...

When I was a teenager, I would (1) boil water in a pan (2) turn stove OFF, (3) place a towel over my head %26amp; lean my face forward into the steam (1, 2 %26amp; 3 are the steps for steaming your face) then I would (3) mix table salt with water to form a paste (4) apply salt paste to oiliest, most blackheaded areas (for me it was the crease in my chin and my nose) and if needed lay down so that it won't fall off (5) alllow to dry, as it dries, it draws out the yucky stuff (6) after dries lean over a sink and run your hands under the water (7) use your damp hands to then scrub your facce with the dried salt (exfoliate) (8) rinse twice with water or more if needed to get all the salt off. When you wash/clean (like in the shower, etc...) then only use Dove Soap or a mild glycerine soap (like Pears)... do not use anything else on your skin. If your skin gets dry (this can be true of things like your legs or your elbows, if not your face at this point in your life) then use warm vegatable based oil (sweet almond oil, sunflower oil, extra light olive oil, grapeseed oil) you can warm it slightly by simply placing the jar in sunlight or drizzling it on your hands %26amp; then rub your hands together really fast to create a small amount of heat.. then simply run into your skin..... @ 30 I started to use warm oil on my entire body after every time I bathed while my skin was still warm as I found I was begining to get a little less oily with age.

If you will do this 1 time per week your complexion will improve. Then continue to do this 1 time per week until needed. I started this routine when I was @ 10 years old. The only ';soap'; ever used on any of my skin was either Dove or Pears. I will sometimes use Pears in the summertime when I am more oily. I was using this same routine even through my early 30s because I have very oily skin. At @ 35 I reduced the salt scrub down to 1 time per month. Now I am 41 and still use salt 1 time per month.

I have always had wonderful skin (thanks to both genetics and wonderful education early on how to take care of my skin). I have always had wonderful compliments on my skin %26amp; because my skin is so well cared for, I only use lipstick %26amp; mascarra... even in the 80s when heavy make-up was en vogue, I never really needed it %26amp; I never needed base make-up at all... thankfully, as it is so destructive to your skin %26amp; can actually be the root cause of clogged pores.

and ohhh, by the way.... my child is now 19.. my SON was properly educated about skin care; however, he thought Dove Soap %26amp; Salt Scrub was a ';girly thing';... so he wouldn't practice this routine... and was encouraged by his father that there were other products available... At 14 he began to be plagued with huge black-heads on face and his back... his father bought him every product on the market... they tried everything.. nothing seemed to work... and FINALLY he decided to try the routine that had been established by the women in my family since the 1800s.... it took about a month of diligent care to clear his skin up. now, at 19 he has beautiful skin and has no hesitation to advise his freinds on his skin care routine... and, yes, he uses either Dove or Pears along with the Salt Scrub.

to add.. seeing the comment below me.... yes, they say don't pinch them out.. I have done that in some rare cases of very large blackheads.. sometimes it is the only way to keep the blackhead from further stretching the pore %26amp; then scarring your skin... if you decide to ';pop'; then make sure your hands and under your fingernails are 100% scrubbed clean to avoid bacterial infectionBlackheads deep inside the pore?
well you can try toothpaste, if that doesn't work, i heard that head and shoulders shampoo works,or you can use cotton balls to dab salt water on it, and use honey 2-3 times a day to make the scaring go away, or you can rub ice on it for 5-10 minutes. I hope you fine something that works, if you do, tell me!
I have used my method and it works anytime...

You need baby oil and thing salt..

First rub oil and put table salk (not rock salt) and rub it against your sin..not too rough..and wash it...

This way it doesn't enlarge your pores and it doesn't infect it either...

If you have more questions just email me

These are some effective home remedies for the treatment of acne and blackheads.
Well to answer your question I have the same problem and I am now using proactive. It helps remove them as long as you do it two times a day. If it dryes up your skin only do it once a day. Make sure you do face masks to.If you then see results keep using it so you don't have to worry about them even coming back. An also Ive learned that if your skin is dry and you use cover up a lot, then start mixing your cover up with some lotion and it won't look so dry and it won't show much of that peeling skin that some people have (like i do). You know what I mean?
Try steaming open your pores first off:

1) Bring a pot of water to boil

2) Dump it into a heat-safe bowl

3) Take a big towel and cover your head and the bowl with it (forming a tent-Might want to pull your hair back for this)

4) Keep your face under the towel for 5 minutes.

5) Quickly go to the bathroom and try clean+clear blackhead scrub.

6) Repeat about 2-3 times a week

Good luck....this works really well for me!
even though lots say it doesnt work, proactiv could help. also, se a dermatologist for best results. you can ask your facilist what she recommends, too. Facials get deep inside the pore, so go monthy
i used a paste made of baking soda and water.

like trsust me, it works.. atleast for me.

leave it on for about 10 minutes, and rinse it off with hot water and then immately cold water. your blackheads will be gona and you will get EXTRA smooth skin. :)
They say not to do this, but I squeeze them out sometimes. But yes, hot water helps open your pores!

How do I get really huge blackheads [Pores?] off of my nose/why are they there?

They are the result of grease build-up. If you don麓t clean your face every day, and i don麓t mean just soap and water, but a cleansing cream and lotion, you can start doing that.

I still ahven麓t found anything that works for me, and i give myself a whole face treatment every day. I麓m seriously thinking of seeing a dermatologist. How do I get really huge blackheads [Pores?] off of my nose/why are they there?
They're there because you've neglected to clean your face.

Excess buildup of oil and dead skin cells can clog pores. Wash your face twice a day and avoid wiping your nose with dirty hands. How do I get really huge blackheads [Pores?] off of my nose/why are they there?
go to the store and buy Biore Pore Strips. they work great

Blackheads - Do Biore Pore Strips Really work?

i have really bad blackheads!!!!!!!

sometimes i look at myself in the mirror and just cry, that's how much they effect me, ive tried everything steaming my face, blackhead scrubs, i wash my face every night without fail, i recently cme over these new biore strips do they work really? are they worth it ?

or is there anything else

Its much much appreciated !

xxBlackheads - Do Biore Pore Strips Really work?
Ah my beauty secret is this mask you can buy at Ulta or CVS. Its called Mint Julep: http://www.acne.org/images/products/quee鈥?/a>

its a clay mask that you leave on for about 15 min. When the clay dries, it pulls dirt and oil from your pores and get rid of it when you wash it off your face.

I usually use it twice a week right after a shower when pores are open because of the stream. I used to have a lot of blackheads on my nose, but since I have been using this, none at all.

Also clean and clear just came out with a vibrating blackhead cleanser. I would look into that in addition to the mask.

It will work, I promise. I have never been impressed with biore.

Oh and also try a little Seabreeze too. The yellow one is the best for blackheads. Just dab a little on after you wash your face.

You should be blackhead free in no time

Good luckBlackheads - Do Biore Pore Strips Really work?
What works really well are chemical exfoliants like Alpha hydroxy acid, beta hydroxy acid, glycolic acid, salicylic acid etc. You should get a face wash with one of those in it, and get some pads too. Avon makes a good glycolic pad called ';anew';. Yes, the biore strips work, but for long term use I think you're better off with a chemical.
OMG! I had that exact same problem! I havent tried the strips but when I started using Clean %26amp; Clear Blackhead ERaser that my mom suggested. After 2 weeks of using it 4 times a week, you will see improvement! AFter using it for a month, i NEVER get blackheads again!
I've only heard bad things about them. I used them once, and although they removed most of the blackheads, they left behind a nose covered in tiny, hard little bumps that stuck around for 2 weeks or so.

Definitely not worth it for me - I'd rather have the blackheads.
they work sorta... but not much. they rip more hair out of your nose then clogged pores. you need to get a facial. thats what facial are, they clear your pores and clean your skin and exfoliate it. i promise you, that'll take care of it.

also, what kind of foundation are you using?? might be coming from that. bare minerals is the best thing i ever did for black heads.
I used these once and I will never use them again! It was almost like the chemical burned my skin. It pulled out like 5 blackheads so for me it was not worth it, BUT everyone is different. Give it a try it may work for you.
i use them and id say they work!!you just have to wash ur face before and put them on when ur nose is wet and make sure to leave it on until its like paper mache, hard, then peel it off! hope it works 4 u!!! XD
Yep, get a facial.

1) They feel goood.

2) Get rid of blackheads.

3) Get rid of spots and oilyness.

4) Make your face feel soft and smooth, and looks good.

PROACTIVE
Proactive. 100% Guaranteed .

You have to lightly put it on your face not scrub hard. It works great.
take about four aspirin and dissolve them in a few drops of water.. add in a squirt of honey and make it into a paste.. you can also add in a few vitamin e capsules if ya like.. this can be used as a scrub, mask if left on for ten minutes, and a spot treatment left on over night.. it works like pro active.. i've used both and got the same result with each which is clear skin.. pro active dried my skin out too, but aspirin didn't.. it's a lot cheaper also..

oh.. and pro active contains benzoil peroxide.. whereas aspirin contains salicylic acid ..

honey alone as a mask works very well also.. leave it on for twenty minutes..

another thing i do as an exfoliate is i scrub my face with an electric toothbrush.. it's sounds kinda weird but it works.. it really cleans out your pores and removes dead skin, oil and dirt.. you can use any scrub ya like or the aspirin i mentioned.. i like to use st. ives.. and i do it about three times a week..

only wash your face when you wake up in the morning, before you go to bed, and after exercise.. excess washing makes your face produce extra oil..

warm water opens pores and cold closes them.. so wash with warm and rinse with cold..

and watch the make up you use.. a mineral make up is much better for your skin.. it doesn't clog your pores or cause break outs.. i recommend bare minerals..

and get a good toner and moisturizer.. i use the garnier nutritioniste moisturizer.. and lemon juice is a good toner..

drink lots of water.. eat healthy.. and take vitamin e, vitamin c, zinc and b vitamins..

hope this helps..
i use Clean%26amp;Clear acne cleansing scrub, spot treatment, and moisturizing cream. it works great!!

Aloette has a few natural masques. The best one I find is the Warming Pumpkin Energizing Masque. It is great for removing black heads. It opens your pores and absorbs dirt, oil and toxins. The warming feature soothes, while, it increases blood circulation that supports and nourishes healthy skin. Another good product is the Aloe-pure multi-action scrub. It contains honey and the inside of almond. So its not touch or harsh on the skin at all. It is amazing for blackheads and reducing pore size! Whats the difference between Blackheads and Pores?

They have different cleansers for bothWhats the difference between Blackheads and Pores?
Pores are the natural grooves in your skin that allow it to breathe. And blackheads are dirt and oil that fill pores....that's what you try to get rid of but it's inevitable to always have a few.Whats the difference between Blackheads and Pores?
Pores are openings in the skin that allow the skin to ';breathe'; and allows the body to release sweat in order to cool itself. Blackheads are pores that are clogged with dirt, germs, and other yucky stuff.
Pores are the tiny holes in your skin.

Blackheads are a type of acne, they're the little black dots, which are actually partially blocked pores.
blackheads are a type of pimple, when they get filled with bacteria, an they look black to the naked eye

pores are part of your skin

the pores are what fill with bacteria
pores are the natural holes in your skin that help your skin breathe (sounds wierd) they are always there no matter what.

blackheads are when dirt gets into the pores instead of creating a pimple (zit) they create a blackhead. to get rid of these just use a cleanser that gets rid of them. (they are black little dots on your face)

sometimes just washing it with soap and water helps, but you have to do it twice a day and it rarely works. try using some avon products. They usually always work for all skin types! Or you can order something online from avon. But i dont know any natural remedies, but to keep your pores small you can mix together the white of eggs and some fruit...look it up online. it helps cause the egg tightens your skin, then you wash it off. easy!
The absolute best way to solve your skin problems is to get a professional facial, then discuss with the pro your skin problems, current facial routines, and she will be able to give you tips and solutions on how to improve the condition of your skin. Sometimes, it has to do with your diet or not drinking enough water. Other times, its improper facial routine/hiegene.
You must use really good cleansing products that really get down into your pores. Also wash your nose differently aside from the rest of your face.

Follow these steps:

Try neutregena blackhead remover

Put it on your nose individually

Then wash your face with a deep cleanser

Put toner on it

Follow up by clinique moisterizing gel.

Do this twice a day if you must.

You have to attack acne where it starts, with your diet. For me, diet was the cause and solution. Topical medications fight the symptoms. Start by eliminating trans fats and eating more fruits and vegetables. Once you start cleaning up the inside of your body, by eating properly, the outside of your body (your skin) will be get cleaned up too. I started a website to document my problem and solution.

http://www.fredstown.com/acne.html

You might find it helpful to read my story. Just remember to eat an all natural/organic diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. Stay away from processed foods. Use mild, all natural cleansers and don't pick at your face. Get lots of sleep and enough water for your body weight. Remember, clean body = clean skin. While you're waiting for your skin to clear, remind yourself that acne is a challenge that you will overcome soon. Once you're rid of it, tell all your friends how you did it. That's what I'm doing. God Bless.

try proactive, yeah alot of people use it and it really works. try some pore strips for unclogging, from biore' or the heating mask from biore' as well for minimizing pores and cleansing them. any biore' product will do the trick! Good Luck!
change your exfoliator it may not be agreeing with your skin or that your being to rough hence the reaction, seek advice from dermatologist they will give you the clearest and safest advice possible.

also mosturising over pores can make them look larger.
For me, Mint Julep Masks work well. If you try them though, make sure to was them off thoroughly, or the places on your face that you didn't rinse it off will seem dry and stiff.

Other products I use are Clearasil Ultra [the lotion], and Neutrogena Rapid something..I forget what it's called but it's by Neutrogena and it's in an orange container, and I use the pads. It says that it'll help acne in under 8 hours, and believe it or not it actually does do a pretty good job.

  • How can I get rid of blackheads/deep pores on nose?

if you have really oily skin try rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball. just rub it across your face and it opens your pores. i do it and it really worksHow can I get rid of blackheads/deep pores on nose?
Fill a metal sink with hot water put a towel over your head and lean over sink but be careful. stay like that for 5-10 minutes ( this will open the pores ) Next use a good face wash scrub or mask. After that use ice and rub it on your face to close pores.

Another great home remedy is this. open pores and wash then rub eggwhites over the area were the pores are large let dry rinse off wash again and moisterize with a light moisterizer w/ little or no oil.

Hope this helped:)How can I get rid of blackheads/deep pores on nose?
DO NOT RUB ALCOHOL ON YOUR NOSE! Sry, but that is REALLY bad. That will make it really, really worse. Your skin will get all off balance and produce MORE oil, and make your breakouts worse. Dry a deep cleansing or warming scrub, and some pore nose strips.
those sticky white strips that you rip off like a band aid
blackhead strips - okay - but not even close to being completely removed.

facial scrub - but no grauntees

hmm... I would like to know what works! good luck
...dunno if this truly works, but I heard that ear wax remover pulls the gunk outta deep pores.
I have the SAME problem. and when I take my finger and put the tip on my nose and rub down it feels bumpy in certain spot-I know,gross-I have no idea how to get rid of them. I have tried several different kinds of pore cleansing face washes with no luck and by squuezing the firtout it only made my nose peel. Good Luck! I'll check back to see what ya got
Mud mask (the clay type). Overnight. Every Other Day for Two Weeks.

Make sure you moisturize in the morning.

    It will works.

I have many blackheads on my nose, how can I get rid of them and make my pore small?

Biore strips. You can get them in a pack of 7 or like $10. After you do that you just have to get into the habit of cleaning your face everyday.I have many blackheads on my nose, how can I get rid of them and make my pore small?
hey ur not alone i have that tooo

    1. u take the egg and separate the yellow one and the white one.u use the white one and put it on your nose.then cover it with a tissue! It smells bad but it works!after 15 minutes pill the tissue off and u'll see pore and blackheads on the tissue.but make sure u wash ur face (especially the nose) with ur facial wash and touch ur nose!it'll feel softer and keep doing it every 3 days !it works fast !make sure u reduced your oil eating cause that could make the egg less working!

    2. take one tablespoon black pepper powder and add to it enough yogurt to make thick paste. Apply and let it dry and wash off after 5-7 min

hope that helped. i haveent used this cures yet, but i am going too =)I have many blackheads on my nose, how can I get rid of them and make my pore small?
facials are the best way to get rid of black heads, but if you can't have one there is another way.

    1. Wash and cleanse your face

    2. Steam your face so your pores open up

    3. Get some tweezers that are designed to take out blackheads (avon sells them cheap) and gently take out your blackheads. Sorry but this will hurt a lot.

    4. Put a mask on your face for about 10-15 minutes and then wash off.

    Hope that helps. Good luck!

    Hope that
a facial is the best for blackheads all over your face and body. ;)
I dunno but when you find out, can you tell me? I have a billion on my nose!!! Thanks!!!!

Ive done this and it works. You take an egg, and use just the egg white. Do not use the yoke (yellow part)! And apply it to your face like a mask. Leave it on for five to ten minutes.

You could also try a facial scrub. You do sugar and regular cooking oil. Only use an amount the size of your palm, a little goes a long way. Rinse with water. *Reminder, the scrub is not to be done everyday, only every once in awhile for dry skin.

What mask or facial wash will reduce my pores, clear blackheads, and moisturize my skin?

I currently only use Burt Bee's products on my body; There aren't many beauty products out there that aren't toxic:

Many beauty products on the market have harmful chemicals in them; do your favorite beauty products contain any of these things?:

    * Mineral Oil, Paraffin %26amp; Petrolatum – Petroleum products coat the skin like plastic, clogging pores and creating a build-up of toxins, which in turn accumulate and can lead to dermatological issues, like slowing cellular development, which can cause you to show earlier signs of aging. Suspected cause of cancer %26amp; Disruptive of hormonal activity.

    * Parabens – Widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic industry (including moisturizers). An estimated 13,200 cosmetic and skin care products contain parabens. Studies implicate their connection with cancer. They have hormone-disrupting qualities – mimicking estrogen – and interfere with the body’s endocrine system.

    * Phenol carbolic acid– Found in many lotions and skin creams. Can cause circulatory collapse, paralysis, convulsions, coma and even death from respiratory failure.

    * Propylene glycol – Used as a moisturizer in cosmetics and as a carrier in fragrance oils. Shown to cause dermatitis, kidney or liver abnormalities, may inhibit skin cell growth, and is a skin irritant and sensitizer.

    * Acrylamide– Found in many hand and face creams. Linked to mammary tumors in lab research.

    * Sodium laurel or lauryl sulfate (SLS), also known as sodium laureth sulfate (SLES)– Found in car washes, engine degreasers, garage floor cleaners… and in over 90% of personal care products! SLS breaks down the skin’s moisture barrier, easily penetrates the skin, and allows other chemicals to easily penetrate. Combined with other chemicals, SLS becomes a “nitrosamine”, a potent class of carcinogen. It can also cause hair loss. SLES is sometimes disguised with the labeling “comes from coconut” or “coconut-derived'; - and is found in many popular body washes and toothpastes!

    * Toluene – Poison! Danger! Harmful or fatal if swallowed! Harmful if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Made from petroleum or coal tar, and found in most synthetic fragrances. Chronic exposure linked to anemia, lowered blood cell count, liver or kidney damage, and may affect a developing fetus. Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) contains toluene. Other names may include benzoic and benzyl.

    * Dioxane– Found in compounds known as PEG, Polysorbates, Laureth, ethoxylated alcohols. Common in a wide range of personal care products. The compounds are usually contaminated with high concentrations of highly volatile 1,4-dioxane, easily absorbed through the skin. Dioxane’s carcinogenicity was first reported in 1965 and later confirmed in studies including one from the National Cancer Institute in 1978. Nasal passages and liver are the most vulnerable. Dioxane is easily removed during the manufacturing process by “vacuum stripping”.

Warning: It is a synthetic derivative of coconut. Watch for hidden language on labels, such as “comes from coconut”.

IF SO, you should throw them away IMMEDIATELY and Tell ALL your friends and family!!!What mask or facial wash will reduce my pores, clear blackheads, and moisturize my skin?
i use burts bee's too. or you could try a mud mask, that's good for your pores expecially.

  • How can I minimize my pores and clear blackheads?

    Natural ways please

I have tried a lot of acne products and they don't do anything for me.

So can you give me homemade mask recipes, or something like that

Thanks in advance!!How can I minimize my pores and clear blackheads?
Apple Zinger Facial Mask (Oily and Acne Prone Skin)

Take 1 medium size apple, grated fine, 5 tbs. honey. Mix the grated apple and honey well. Smooth over skin and let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.

Cool as a Cucumber Yogurt Facial (Normal/Oily Skin)

    1/2 cucumber

    1 Tbsp plain yogurt

Puree cucumber in blender mix in yogurt, apply to face. Leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse well.

    Honey Mask (Oily/Blemished Skin)

Massage a small amount of slightly heated honey onto skin and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Be sure to wash off all the honey with lukewarm water or the honey left will clog your pores, resulting in more acne. Wheat germ may be added for its abrasive action, protein and nutrients.

    Pineapple Olive Oil Mask

In a blender, combine 4 large pineapple chunks or 1/2 cup canned, drained pineapple and 3 tablespoons olive oil. Blend until almost smooth. Apply mixture to face with fingertips and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse face with warm water and pat dry.

    Tomato Blemish Remedy

    1 tomato, ripe, chopped

    1 tsp. lemon juice

1 T instant style oatmeal or old fashioned rolled oats

Blend all ingredients until just combined, in a paste. Apply to blemished skin, making sure the mixture is thick enough to stay in place. Leave in place 10 minutes. Remove with damp washcloth, and rinse and tone. Plain tomato juice can be applied for about 15-20 minutes and is the one of the best method to reduce pores and this also helps with the excess oil in the face.

    Honey Yogurt Exfoliating Facial Scrub

Mix 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar with 陆 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of plain yogurt. Smooth the mixture over your face and leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse off using lukewarm water.

    Oatmeal Exfoliating Facial Scrub

Mix one pack of instant oatmeal with water to create a paste. Once the paste is formed, dab the mixture onto your entire face. Let the mixture set for approximately 2 minutes and rinse off with cold water. According to experts oily skin should be treated with an oatmeal mask to get good results. Oatmeal when mashed not only acts as a great scrub but also effectively soaks away the excess oil from your face. The usage of oatmeal paste must be followed by a cold water rinse that helps in contracting the pores.

    Seawater

Wash your face twice a day in warm, salty water. This helps leave your face clean and oil-free -- without employing any potentially irritating products or soaps.

    Toning: Egg Whites

Using egg whites is the cheapest and easiest way to tone your skin at home. Simply separate a few raw egg whites into a bowl and apply directly on the facial skin after cleansing. Let the egg white dry for at least 15 minutes and rinse it off with lukewarm water for an instant glow. For acne, take one egg white and put it directly on top of the pimple for 20 minutes.

    Garlic

Peel and mash eight cloves of fresh garlic. Apply to face avoiding the area around the eyes. Leave on for about 15 minutes. Wash off with a warm cloth.

    Toothpaste

Put toothpaste on your pimples before you go to bed, should help reduce swelling overnight. Make sure it is the paste not the gel.

    Baking Soda Solution

You will need 1 tbsp. baking soda, 1 tbsp. water. Mix together ingredients and apply on face allowing it to sit for 15 minutes before rinsing it with warm water. Baking Soda is very cheap and one box will last you a very long time. You can also use baking soda as an exfoliator: be careful when applying it to your face, since it is a very effective scrub. Massage the baking soda into your skin for ten to fifteen seconds and rinse. Your face is now clear of the surface cells that will cause many acne spots.

How can I minimize my pores and clear blackheads?
you can get this cheap bottle of cleaner stuff from cloniqe ( don't know how to spell it) and if you just put it on in morning and night and just put it on and scrub it for 20 seconds it will gradually go away in like a day and also and cleansing strips also work.

Beat white part of an egg. Add one teaspoon of honey and with a cotton swab, apply it on face. Keep it around half an hour and then scrub well and rinse with warm water. This is also good for blackheads and dark spots. Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.

witch hazel is good for your skin if your going through through that problem stage, also after washing give a ice cold rince to close pores, also live yoghurt is good to kill bacteria
Steam over hot water in a sink. Towel over your head. Do this regularly. Try one or two remedies for a month before using another to see if they work.
get a facial at the local spa.
    u should use achohol

hope i helpedHow to minimize my pores and clear blackheads?
Freederm stuff is good, its not too expensive either.

I tried a few clearasil products but they all dry your skin out which then encourages it to be even greasier.

So yeah freederm, theyve got a wash, cream and moisturiser so for best results use all 3. And moisturising with their stuff won't make your skin greasier either.
The Clinique pore minimizer is fab it closes pores and clears the skin up perfectly. You can buy cheap clinique from http:www://www.beautyparlor.co.uk and it is definately worth a try!
try using tea tree oil as a toner to retract your pores, or any other toner (the vit e one from Boots is cheap as chips and works great).

As for balckheads, you cna try making some of thos estrips by using cooking gelatine.
I always use the Biore line of products and it works great for me.

Does anyone have a solution to my question?I have dirty pores and huge blackheads. How do i get rid of them?
try washing your face more oftenI have dirty pores and huge blackheads. How do i get rid of them?
try Ponds foaming facial wash with microbeads.
pop em that always works...don't know y but i like poppin blackheads...my husband thinks i m weird...i think i am too.LOL no for real though- when you are finishing up washing your face do u use cold /hot water?? use cold water cuz it shrinks your pores after cleaning, it's kinda like when it's summer and the ring on your finger gets stuck cuz your fingers swell, and when it's cold your fingers shrink and your ring gets lose....same w/ pores. hope it works.good luck with the washn of the face...also its not really recommended, but try using a cotton ball wth rubbing alcohol on it, that will clean your pores and then rince w/ extremely COLD water as u can stand to shrink your pores form gettin clogged again:)
    Tips to remove blackheads

    http://acne-treatment-4-all.blogspot.com鈥?/a>
This is the EASIEST %26amp; the BEST treatment you'll try!!

Rub a teaspoon of fine salt all over your face gently %26amp; wash off!! And you'll notice that your blackheads are gone (not completely but some of them must be gone) %26amp; your skin is smooth!!! You'll be amazed! Try it NOW!! Repeat this proccess twice/thrice a week!!

Follow with an egg white mask! Whip an egg white until frothy %26amp; slather it on your face. Wait until it dry %26amp; wash off with warm water. Then, a splash of cold water. But you don't have to do the egg white mask everytime you did the salt scrub. Once a month is enough but you must to do the salt scrub twice/thrice a week!

    GOOD LUCK!!
    Skin Pores: Care

    Care

Keep your skin free of excess oils. That does not mean that you strip away the acid mantle totally. Just keep the oil manageable so that it does not look shiny. Use cleansers that are mild and preferably enriched with AHAs to keep the acid mantle undisturbed. Use exfoliation agents such as topical retinoids to remove the excess dead skin cells that accumulate around the pore. Treat blackheads, because they draw attention to the pores. Skin protection from sun can reduce the enlargement of pores.

    Whiteheads %26amp; Blackheads

Whiteheads and blackheads are the first stage of acne. Acne develops on hair follicles which have sebaceous glands attached to them. These sebaceous glands produce an oil called sebum. Due to some reasons, the sebum changes in quantity and quality resulting in scales on the hair follicle. These scales block the skin pores causing acne. This blockage of the skin pores is the beginning of acne.

The first stage of this blockage shows up as blackheads and whiteheads. These are also called as comedones. A comedone is a sebaceous follicle that is plugged and filled with sebum, dead cells, etc. An open comedone is called a blackhead because of its blackish appearance. A blocked comedone is called as a whitehead. It is a small bump in the skin with skin like color. A whitehead has a closed mouth and the blackhead has an open mouth. The black color of blackheads is not due to dirt as some believe, but it is the oxidized sebum.

    Treatment And Care:

Don't squeeze whiteheads And blackheads yourself. That may leave permanent scars on the skin and also cause infection. The best approach is to go to a dermatologist, who will pick them open, if required under sterile conditions. Note that Acne scars can be permanent. Wash your face gently with lukewarm water and mild soap to remove excess sebum and dead skin. Do this twice a day. Don't be harsh on the skin. Acne takes time to clear. Apply any topical cream that may be prescribed by your dermatologist. Acne treatment requires patience. Some of us think that washing affected area many times a day may clear acne fast. That may rather further inflame the acne. Be gentle and patient.

I suggest you see a licensed aesthetician and get a facial. They are trained to extract the blackheads and clean out your pores. Extraction is the only way you can get the blackheads out but do not attempt to do it yourself as you could end up breaking out.
go get a facial especially for clogged pores. the beautician can get them out correctly and they will do a mud mask to get a deep clean - plus its a great excuse to get pampered. Merry Christmas!!
Back in the olden days we had a method.

Put a finger on either side of the blackhead. Push together. Poof! All gone.

You are going to get 2 dozen people on here to say not to do that. But it worked back in the day, and it works now.

Better to squeeze then to walk around with that black yucky stuff on your face.
You need to steam it. Put some hot water in your basin, and hang a towel over your head.Stand over the top of the basin for about 5 minutes. This will open up your pores, then cleanse it. Once cleansed splash your face down with cold water to close the pores. Do it as often as you can intil it improves, then once a day should be fine
ok 'bout 10 minutes b4 u go 2 bed wash ur fash w/ exfoliating face wash b/c it gets rid of the nasty stuff 'n ur pores %26amp; u wash ur face 1st, then u dry it ,then u let the pores close up
Follow these steps for at least six months, all of those quick solutions never work anyway. You need to not wash your face so much because washing your face removes all of your naturally occurring skin oils and it is these oils that are your body's first defense against a lot of skin conditions, also you do not want to be washing your face with just any kind of soap you only want to use a soap that is especially formulated for washing your face. What causes most skin conditions is diet,People who have black heads have a lot of different environmental toxins in there body's and bloodstream. What happens with a persons skin is a reflection of there current state of health and what thy are feeding themselves and or eating. You need to change your diet to include mainly very fresh fruits and very fresh vegetables. you should get yourself a juiceman juicer (you can find one cheap on eBay) and have two to three full glasses of organic carrot juice a day this will help to clear up your skin and also you are going to need to take sugar and corn syrup out of your diet, no sodas or soft drinks just water and carrot juice. To clean the Juiceman Juicer is easy just rinse it off and then use a little brush ( you can get this at the dollar store) to clean the screen, it takes me about three minutes to clean mine. Here is a list of the other supplement's that you will need, you can get these at your local health food store, hyloronic acid,Vitamin A,This one is important %26gt;%26gt;liquid Silica Gel P.S. Hope that i helped you! You can take my advice or leave it, this is up to you and depends on how much that you really want to get rid of your problem.
you need a microdermabrasion scrub like something with good hard beads to clean ur face try apricot scrub buy according to ur skin type. also try clovate soap it really works.
Biore' strips (found almost anywhere) then dermatologist can recommend Clenia Wash. (will keep the blackhead population down. (strips come with instructions...follow them.

You also might find one of those circular scrubbing machines for you face, with a small brush. That helps. If not get a cheap toothbrush that spins and use it only on your face. Keep away from soap that has detergent, color, scent. ( Basis, Neutrogena, Aveeno)
i would suggest washing your face about three times a day and let it dry on its own, don't use a towel. Blackheads are related to oil underneath the skin. Perhaps a visit to a dermatologist might help but it might not be something beyond personal hygiene. You're the best judge for yourself.
squeeze the blackheads out. exfoliate in the shower and then use a good pore strip to take them out
Have u ever heard of SPA? try it they have a program that can help you control and eliminate those derma skin problems. Trust me it works for my GF.
This may sound real dumb, But an old girl friend had this problem when she was a teen. she solved it by washing her face with hot water to open up her pores, then cold water to close them. she did this 3-4 times a day for about a month and man it worked so well that I believe that nothing is better then hot/cold water. Wash hot water on your face no soap 3 times a session, then cold water 3 times as well. then blot dry . Good luck I am very sure it will work better then any medicated pad.
    Clean %26amp; Clear for Blackheads
try showering for a change soap water soap and scrub yo nasty self clean

Dioxane is easily removed during the manufacturing process by “vacuum stripping”.

How can I minimize my pores and clear blackheads?

Also how long does it take to show results? :P thanks so much it really means alot to me. p.s im a guy :)How to minimize my pores and clear blackheads?
Use blackhead strips you can get them from home bargins for 拢2 and you get like 8 strips use 1 every 2 days and it should work within' a week

hope i helpedHow to minimize my pores and clear blackheads?

I always use the Biore line of products and it works great for me.

i find clearasil deep cleanse pore scrub really works, and try face wipes at night too

    Removing Blackheads with pore strips..?

I have really bad blackheads on my nose and i was just wondering if i could get some info on pore strips

I have heard from a few people that it's really bad for your skin and makes your pores get really big.. is that true??

And are you supposed to put anything on your skin after you take the strips off? Will it turn your skin red or anything if you don't put anything on it? I have heard about using toners and something else, but i would just like an idea about what you use.

Thanks so much!Removing Blackheads with pore strips..?
Yup, I had the same problem... Try 'Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips'. They're available like at Walmart or any store like that. It unclogs your pores and actually will shrink them as it unclogs. You should also look at their other products for blackheads. Biore is the best brand for getting rid of those pesky blackheads. Trust me, I've tried them all!! and Biore actually works! You don't needs to do anything to your skin after you remove the pore strips... it hurts a little taking it off (kind of like pulling of a band-aid) but you only feel an actually nice tingling afterwards. nope, no toners or anything!Removing Blackheads with pore strips..?
They're not bad for your skin, and pores don't get bigger or smaller, they just open and close. =]

You're supposed to get your face or nose wet for it stick on, and it might be a good idea to use witch hazel afterwards. Your face will only be red temporarily (for like 5 minutes).

Personally I've had better results using Clean and Clear Blackhead Clearing scrub, or something similar.

    Hope that helps.
    Ellie,

Pore strips will take the tops off of some of your blackheads, but they do leave a temporary hole where the plug was. This will go away in a few days. However, if you really want to treat them correctly, if it's an option, see a dermatologist. They have special medications, tools, and procedures that can treat/prevent blackheads. Don't waste your money on over the counter products!
I use the pore strips and like them. I started using Olay of Oil deep cleansing face wash with witch hazel (its the one in the bottle you have to squeeze) and I've notice my blackheads aren't as bad, and I only have to use the pore strips every once in awhile now. After using the pore strips, I do put Clear Pore by Neutrogena on after.(don't think it's necessary though.) I know its a pain, I hate them, but with this stuff I've minimized them greatly.
If yyou can afford it, go get a facial. But make sure it is one with a steam thing(not sure what it is called) Its unbeleivable how good it works and take out blackheads. I don't know if you have a Genny Grady in your area but they are great. I dont hitnk pore strips hurt your skin. i have used them before.
I've used them. My pores stayed the same size. i put lotion on my skin after i take them off.

    I'd recommend Biore products.

Saunas are the best ....the skin heats up ...the pores expand

The black heads are forced up.......the you use freezing cold water to contract the pores and the black heads are forced out........ with no damage to the skin...thats why scandinavians have nice complexsions
Those strips don't work. Don't waste your money. Get this instead-- it actually works. You can find it at any drugstore --about 10 bucks or less.

Yea they work good...there's also a blackhead scrub from clean and clear that works good..but use the strip once a week

try washing your face more oftenI have dirty pores and huge blackheads.

I have really bad blackheads on my nose! I've tried pore strips but they didn't work! Anything else I can do?

There is a load of them and I can squeeze them is there anything I can do to get rid of them!?I have really bad blackheads on my nose! I've tried pore strips but they didn't work! Anything else I can do?
you could use a blackhead scrub on your face, the neutrogena stuff works goodI have really bad blackheads on my nose! I've tried pore strips but they didn't work! Anything else I can do?
Blackheads are caused by the sebum in your pores oxidizing with the air ( which causes the dark colour) I was once told that almond oil helps ( it seems weird, right? putting oil on your face) but I swear it works! try it just on the effected areas and after a few days they will dissapear
    pore strips do NOT work

    try Clean%26amp;Clear's blackhead eraser
Try using any product by Neutrogena, I also have blackheads around my nose use Neutrogena Acne Stress Control ( Oil-Free) facial cleanser, it is a foamy liquid, it's AMAZING! If you want something light use Eucerin or Clearasil. Proactive is not a good product, it leaves your skin dry and flaky. Hopefully this helped! :)

Don't waste your money! There are much more effective ways to remove blackheads, and they don't cost $40. You can make a simple solution from pure aloe vera gel and baking soda (found at any grocery/drug store) for about $10. You mix a small amount of the aloe vera gel with baking soda until it forms a paste, put that paste anywhere there are blackheads, and let it sit for 5 minutes. The solution will desolve the blackheads, and loosen them. After you rinse the solution off, you can very gently squeeze them out. It will take a couple times before they're all gone, but this works great! You can do this once a week until they're all gone, any more is too drying. If you use an oil-free moisturizer with salicylic acid as the active ingredient, it will keep them from coming back. Hope that helps.
i really think it is worth a try!

tell me if it works! i would totally buy one if it did! i always have problems with blackheads.

It helps a lot to clean your system/body or the pores of your skin/face, it helps your skin pores to go back to normal, makes softer and cleaner. Plus eat vegetables salad everyday. On Tv they advertise ProActive..have you tried that?

I like all the Principal Secret face scrubs, moisturers and eye creams...very good to keep skin clear for me..
I have the same problem. I have hundreds of tiny blackheads on my chin and nose, and it would be impossible to squeeze them all out. I also have dry, flaky skin in some areas, and oil in others. I never really had acne until recently, and I couldn't figure out why, but now I know, and already, within a few days, my blackheads are getting smaller and my complexion is improving. My problem was using makeup and lotions that contain lots of oil. Even if your skin is dry, don't make this mistake. Never use body lotion on your face. Buy an oil free moisturizer. I use Neutrogena oil-free moisturizer for sensitive skin. It's wonderful! Another problem...I was using acne medication containing salycilic acid. This is great for some people but not so great for those with dry skin. It contains a peeling agent, and can make your skin even more dry and flaky. My doc recommended Cetaphil. It's a gentle cleanser, and it works well for me. Also, wash your face with cool water. It closes your pores, making them less visible. Make sure you use an oil-free makeup/foundation...Most oil free foundations say non-comedogenic on the label, meaning it won't clog your pores. This regimen has worked very well for me. I started seeing reduction in the size of blackheads and smoother skin within days. Hope this helps a bit...Good luck!
It is very difficult to keep your hands off the blackhead or blemish that may appear on your skin. You always consciously or unconsciously, tend to squeeze your blackheads. But the fact is, that gentle removal of your blackheads can actually help in reducing and preventing any further damage to your skin. But, the question here is how to remove it. Following are some of the ways and means to remove blackheads with ease:

Light squeezing: You can remove the stuff from inside a blackhead with light handed squeezing. Such a process can actually help the skin. Yes, squeezing is detrimental to the skin, but how you squeeze determines whether it harms the skin or benefits it. Gentle is the key word and you have to be careful not to over squeeze it.

Use products for exfoliating: You can use some very effective exfoliating product for removing dead skin cells. In this way you can remove even the most stubborn blackheads. Also, microdermabrasion can be used to remove stubborn blackheads.

What can I use to reduce large pores and eliminate blackheads?

I have always had blackheads on my chin and nose and they have always bothered me and now i just want to get rid of them. What can I use to achieve this and what can I use to shrink my pores?

I appreciate any help. Thank You.What can I use to reduce large pores and eliminate blackheads?
Though nothing will completely diminish the appearance of your pores, one thing I've heard that works countless times is Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque. It's basically a really thick clay mask that you apply to your face once or twice a week for 10-15 minutes (till it dries) and then wash it off. It clears up blackheads and shrinks pores. I used to use this stuff all the time till I couldn't find it at the supermarket anymore.

But recently I noticed that they sell it at Sally Beauty Supply so I get it there. It's good stuff.

If you can't find this, then try any other clay mask... it should work well. What can I use to reduce large pores and eliminate blackheads?

Boiling water, pouring it into a large bowl and steaming your face by covering your head with a towel over the bowl and then trying a mask or strip in the problem area can help.

The steam helps open up the pores and then the mask/strip help remove the debris in them.Any ideas on how to get rid of blackheads, dirty pores on your nose?
This is frustrating! I have had this issue forever but finally found the combo that works for me a couple of years ago.

    1) I use philosophy purity made simple facial cleanser ($38 a bottle but it's big and lasts for a couple of months). You don't have to use toners/astringents afterward which can dry skin out and leave it red.

    2) Biore ultra cleansing strips. Keep reading, I know you said the strips don't work, but this is the only one I have tried that DOES (believe me, I have tried them ALL). The key is to get your skin very wet, and press down on the strip more than one time during the first minute or two, just enough to make sure it is making a tight bond to your skin. Then, when it is completely dry and stiff, pull it off...SLOWLY. It hurts like a mofo but that tells you it is working. If you do it that way (and not rip it off like they tell you to) it really works. But be ready, it's going to hurt.

To me, finally not having to worry about a spotted nose was a fair trade-off for the pain.
