Sorry, this sounds really stupid but how do you 'pop a blackhead'?

thanks xSorry, this sounds really stupid but how do you 'pop a blackhead'?
hi,

don't be sorry for that! someone needs to teach you anyway: so clean your face ,

do a scrub and rinse it with hot water to open pores

(it ' s best to do it after shower)

then take 2 clean tissues that you roll around your forefingers on each hands, then put some pressure on one finger and push with the other one, if you see the blackhead out , it's ok ,if it can't go out then it's not mature enough to be popped.

then after you've done everything, do a purifying mask or moisturizing mask following your skin type...

hope I helped ,

Good luck hun,

Take care

You can go to walmart and they sell a tool that will do it for you. It is similar to the tool dematologists use. It is usually in the same section where you find acne products, or near sponges and applicators. just look around really good and you will find it. It is about 4 inches long with a loop at one end and the other end has a flat area with a hole in the middle. It works and it helps pop it evenly. They say it isn't good to pop them but its better then using your nails that can scar your skin or transfer the bacteria. Wipe everything with alcohol to avoid spreading any germs. Then apply ZAP ZIT a cream you can also find at walmart. Its cheap but it really works too. It will dry up a pimple in no time.
Don't pop blackheads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your skin will replace it overnight and you'll get even more.
If you REALLY want to pop one, just put your fingers on both sides ans squeeze

but you shouldn't pop them, all it does is make it worse in the long run.
This is what I suggest and no I did not just copy and paste this from some random website, I have actually tried all of this and yes, it works amazingly great =]

1. Do you have oily/combination or dry/flaky skin?

-For oily/combination. Use a 3 step system such as AcneFree, Clinique, or Proactive. Salicylic acid seems the best for oily/combination skin because it's stronger but it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry. I use Clinique 3 step system (I bought it two months ago) and I am seeing great results as such for the oily skin and my mild acne.

-For dry/flaky skin. I suggest you use benzoyl peroxide, its much gentler for drier skin and will leave your skin feeling moisturized and smooth. Also use SPF moistruizer everyday after cleansing and toning your skin.

2. Use a honey and banana mask 2-3 times a week. Take a little bit of honey and little peices of banana and massage it all together on your face, let it tighten yoru skin for 10 minutes, then risne off with luke warm water and then cold water. It will help prevent breakouts from occuring. After you rinse tha toff, take some clean and clear persa gel 10 (works great!) and dab a little on the pimples/zits you have. Do thsi before going to bed, next morning, rinse off and I swear your skin will feel and look amazing.

3. Do not eat much junk food (its ok to eat every once in awhile but not so much) because base from ym epxerince, I brokeout a lot from greasy foods like pizza, burgers, chips, soda, etc.

4. For bacne, I suggest scrubing your back every morning and night with Netruogena acne body wash. I use to use it and it works failry good, you will notice results in a week ro two.
You really shouldn't. Often times if you pop one....ten more will replace it.
Just steam ur face n pop the blac head lightly by squeesing them wd de help of two fingers. They will easily come out,

How to steam ur face...

Boil some water in any vessel or bowl. After boiling it put a towel to cover up ur head so dat de steam wud not go away.
There actually is a way to pop them without breaking your skin. The tool thing some were talking about works but I don't prefer it. All you need to do if you can't fight the urge anymore, wrap a tissue around the fingers you use. The tissue isn't as hard or harsh as your fingernail so it'll pop it out. At the same time, popping blackheads only spreads them so it's never the best idea.
Well, first you have to wash your hands thoroughly. Then, gently push while placing your fingers on each side, (it may hurt a little). After it's ';popped';, wash your face so the bacteria doesn't spread. I reccomend holding some tissue on it so it won't bleed fanatically and scab, and then putting some vinegar on it. It'll heal ten times faster.
I really wouldnt pop it. But if your really desperate get two q-tips and squeeze both sides of the blackhead. You probably really shouldnt use your fingers or finger nails.
There's really no safe way in popping a black head safely with out breaking the skin and causing scars. You can go to the store like a local pharmacy and buy a black head remover which should cost around $5-$8 dollars depending on brand. This causes less acne scars to the face and gives more accuracy in removing the black heads fully. Good Luck

Well you really should not be popping, picking, or squeezing your face. For a quick fix on black heads you could try the Biore' strips. Keep in mind that your face is the last place you want to have acne scarring. The best thing for you would be to correct and prevent future break outs.
